Case 3

It is the need for people to be more sufficient and less work. Technology nowadays may seem to be a necessary tool in which human beings live an easier and less work kind of life. That is the reason why our forefathers, in there time of struggles which is full of work and time, came to think that technology must be made to make a human life much more easier. But that is not the case, because of some humans beings abuse their way of life and they are beginning to be dependent on technology itself, not of the ones who created it, humans themselves. So are we, the human beings are to be bound by technology? or are these technologies made to be bound and to be used carefully by their creator? The future may seem to be blurry but right now, all i know is that we are being dependent on technology itself and some of us may find their life difficult of the currnet technology we have and they need to force themselves to be innovative in creating new technology or nonetheless improve the technology what other human beings already made. The more technology is being used the more technology is needed for daily needs, work and other aspects in what we call a human beings life. We can't hide the fact that we are in need of better technologies other than the ones who are in used. From prehistoric caveman's that create fire to warm themselves in winter season, from famous inventors that wrote their name in world history and even in the present who wields the fruits of our forefathers hopes and dreams. Mankind will innovate and every year there is innovation, every year we are more and more dependent in the technology we made. Yes! It is inevitable to have mankind be dependent in the technology they made. And we must be careful and be ready for the backfires and the consequences in what we do because the more we are advanced in technology the more it is dangerous to be with technology.

Case Study 2

As i think of what will the world become when it comes to 4000 ad or so, the life of our world will deplete. As of now we see signs of our mother earth weakening, it may or it may not end up as what i think for i do not hold the eyes bound by the future. But for logical reasons, come to think of it, the world is dying and we need to migrate to another planet or to create a colony that has the ability to produce its own resource and can handle the human population like this planet does. Even though this kind of technology may be far fetched, i can't deny the fact that the earth is torn apart by creatures who has high intellect but still wasting their precious resources given to them by their home planet who has sheltered every form of life. We may not see the chaotic results as of now but what about our future generations?Do they need to suffer the consequences of their forefathers early actions of destroying their lovely planet?We do not need argument, what we need is idea that might save the humans, or even the planet earth. Are we doing those ideas right now?Like tree planting? that may be a good idea, but it doesn't have the solution, what i see is only remedy. We may put up a forest in an area but we do consume them double or even three times the number of trees we planted. Its just prolonging our lives until we consume each and every stock of resource this planet has. As what i have seen in the news that the NASA is sending some unmanned space explorers just to check the other planets that can be compatible with a human beings needs. This may take years of exploration but i do hope that this kind of journey may save the human race from extinction. Others may think that what i believe is madness but i do take posibilities as chances and if you gamble with chance it always comes up with a win or lose match.

Case Study 1

As of the twenty first century, technology is very common and very well used. We use them in our daily needs, in our home, at school and even at work. It is so important that in every generation it evolves and upgrades such as mobile phones, vehicles and even systems in big companies. Technology even exist in the prehistoric era, what do the cavemans used when they put up a fire and warm themselves for the coming of winter?what do they use when they hunt their prey just to keep them alive? Even until now the influence of technology still is in a massive scale that no one can ever diminish. And so as time passes by, more and more innovative minds create their own technology like Thomas Edison who invented the light bulb, the Wright Brothers whose dreams are to be in sky and fly freely like a bird was successful in making the first airplane. What makes them innovators of their time? It was simply following their dream, a dream that made the human kind change their fate and their future. It was courageous of them to seek out and defy the odds of their own race thinking that they couldn't, but they believe and all they did was to follow it and made their dream a reality. This involves oneself as well as others around him to be fully aware of what kind of community he grew up, what kind of economy and what kind of technology does his community holds, and thinks the technology he grasp isn't enough. He finds himself thinking of a way to be the first, to be innovative and to create a technology that will improve the lives of many and stand the test of time. There are some technologies that needs to be updated, upgraded or replaced because of some of its concepts are somewhat similar even though they came from different origin. And the factors involved in this kind of situation is each and every person has a spirit of competitivenes, the need of acknowledgement or to become famous, the needs of his country and what i think is the most important factor that a human mind and heart can give is the need to innovate and save the world in its knees.

Comp04 expectations

The Course Description says the subject comp04 is "Current Trends in Information Technology" and as what we have discussed in our previous lecture meetings is all about our future technology. I may not be innovative in ideas but i do hope to be shared some information, references and interesting knowledges as well as thoughts and dreams of what my classmates' future technology is all about. I do expect to experience something differend and unique throughout the entire semester. As for the lovely instructors in lecture and laboratory i hope they will be considerate to me and my classmates for the rest of the semester. As we go on to the next three quarters in this subject i wish to have an experience that are quite entertaining and to have and inpirational as well as futuristic thoughts and dreams that may be somehow proved useful in our current and future society. As for my future technology, together with my friends, i hope i can develop this in the future. I may lack the ability to finish this kind of technology but i hope it will be completed together with the seeds of our future generations and be carried out throught the entire history of our entire race. My expectations as well as my hopes in this subject and the other subjects as well, is that the students, the instructors to do their best and be enthusiastic in what they do and they want to do and i myself will no be in any exemption of what i'd expect from my classmates and my instructors. I hope this may be further applied in my future semester in AMA computer college. I also hope that i wont forget about what i expect from my subjects, classmates and instructors as i go on as a student or even as an individual.
